Shipping policy

Shipping Policy

Every work that leaves MIDO Gallery is packed by professional art handlers, fully insured in transit, and tracked door to door. Original artwork is not stock on a shelf, so please allow a little more time than you would for an ordinary online order.

Processing time

Most works ship within 5 to 10 business days of your order. Large, framed or fragile works that need a custom crate can take up to 15 business days. We email you the moment your piece is on its way, with the carrier and tracking number.

Shipping within the United States

Standard insured shipping within the United States is complimentary on all artwork orders. Works are shipped from our Miami, Florida warehouse or directly from the gallery holding the piece. Large canvases, sculpture and any work over 70 lb travel by specialist art freight or white-glove delivery; we contact you before shipping to confirm the delivery details and, where a freight service is required, the quote.

International shipping

We ship worldwide. For the countries listed at checkout, USPS and DHL Express rates are calculated on the order. For all other destinations, including Colombia and the rest of Latin America, place your order or contact us and we will quote insured shipping before anything is charged. Import duties, taxes and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the price of the work or the shipping.

Collection in person

You are welcome to collect a work in person by appointment at the gallery or our Miami warehouse. Contact us after purchase to arrange a time.

Delivery and signature

All artwork deliveries require a signature. Please inspect the packaging before signing. If the outer packaging is visibly damaged, note it with the carrier at the time of delivery.

Damage in transit

Every shipment is insured. If a work arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the packaging and the damage, and keep all packing materials until the claim is settled. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in line with our Refund Policy.

Certificates and documentation

Each original work ships with its certificate of authenticity and, where the artist provides one, a signed statement or care instructions.
