This piece comes from my ongoing exploration of how we’re slowly drifting away from nature and turning more into a digital being, not even recognizing ourselves since we present us in a complete different way online than in real life. We spend so much time in digital spaces that we’re starting to feel more like a different version of ourselves than the real thing. The figures in my work sit right in between - human, still connected to nature, but already beginning to fade away. It’s about that quiet shift from something real and grounded, like nature and flowers into something more distant and unreal, hence the pixelation.
