Kim Stadin, Rainbow Reverie, 2023

Rainbow Reverie is an original two-piece painting (36x36 inches each)
that bursts forth with vibrant energy and dynamic movement. This diptych
features a rich spectrum of colors, seamlessly transitioning from warm reds and
yellows to cool greens and blues, creating an immersive rainbow-like gradient.
Each hand-poured vertical stripe is precise and fluid, evoking a sense of wonder
and limitless possibilities.
At the base of each piece, a cascade of colorful dried paint peels gathers, as
though the hues have flowed down the canvas and pooled into a vivid celebration
of texture and form.
The two panels can be displayed with a small space between them for a
dynamic, segmented effect, or pushed together to create the illusion of one
continuous artwork.
