About the work
From the series FLOWERS ON YUGAMBEH COUNTRY, here emerge the succulent forms of the dune and beach flowers of Sarah’s local coastline. The series reflects on the importance of meaningful recognition, representation and listening to Indigenous communities in decisions that affect their lives and futures, positioning Country as a living presence rather than a passive setting.
