From the series FLOWERS ON YUGAMBEH COUNTRY, this work acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land upon which the artist lives and works and recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first peoples and ongoing custodians of Australia’s lands, waters and cultures, whose sovereignty was never ceded. The artwork explores the flowers growing in the Eucalypt Forests on Yugambeh Country, many of which are found on the farm where she lives.
